i'll start, I started my game life in SWG as an over-sized wookiee but that character had run its course and the rp opportunities for a wookiee back then were sparse aside from growling at someone or being a co-pilot. needless to say I ended up killing him and re-rolling a twi'lek, I didn't want to be a human or a zabrak at the time, and trandoshans didnt appeal to me. so Henaji Astab was born. The name was a randomly generated name so theres no real meaning for it. Dathora was soon rolled by a friend who had played my IG sister for many months and I still see her as a dear friend/sister.
Henaji was his sisters protector and soon Dathora started to help Sy'kirra develop the twi'lek rp fanon we have now. I kind of rolled along with it as she bounced certain ideas off me and asked me to help create the warrior caste for the race. It soon turned into a roller coaster complete with unnecessary drama and the like. Through all this time though, my main character remained though others quit. Henaji was for a long time my main source of role-play through the good and the bad.
Seknos is an amalgam of everything I've tried to rp before and alot experience comes with this character.

My first character ever, Feauxshee Noku, was Twi'lek, along with all of my characters up til my first zabrak three years ago. I'm not sure why I picked a Twi'lek to begin with, but I'm sure Oola had something to do with it. Once I saw the great range of colors they could be, that's why it stuck. At first I didn't roleplay much, I was one of those nose raisers that thought it was far too nerdy for my taste, plus I was only playing the game to humor my then boyfriend since he was obsessed with it and everything star wars. Once he got me into roleplaying, I went to wookieepedia and started looking things up so I didn't look like too much of an idiot. Feauxshee ended up a very strange, likely unbelievable character thanks to my lack of knowledge, but reading about Twi'leks hooked me. About two months before the NGE came out I got banned for chargeback (evil now mother-in-law found a double charge on her credit card and didn't know she was paying for my account >.>), and when I came back, I found the fanon, then Henaji So....I'm going to blame you Hen

My boyfriend at the time wanted to play SWG, so I looked up the playable races. I googled twi'lek and after seeing Oola get eaten and all of the disgusting slave fan fiction I almost didn't. Then I found the Twi'lek Lexicon and fanon on Kika'lekki.
I am a priestess/barbarian roleplayer in every other game so it fit naturally. : )

I originally had a human with an obnoxiously long and oddly spelled name. I encountered drama, so I "ran away" and made a wookiee that was his wookiee's little sister. When he re-rolled as a twi, so did I, and Dathora was born, just like he said. The rest is history.

My first character was a Zab on Eclipse, but I never got much into RP there. I got intrigued by playing an entertainer alt on some server I don't recall, but the community was awful, so I went shopping for a good troupe and wound up on Starsider. It was really over the course of the next year or so that I discovered the depth of content available to Twi'leks. Someone eventually pointed me over to the old peach-tree site and I've been dingbat crazy ever since :9.
Underdog races and conditions of oppression and quiet suffering and survival tend to resonate with me, so its been a natural fit.

When I first played SWG, I had a zabrak and a twilek. Something about the latter just struck me, and I actually played on Starsider from launch with one, which was based on my character from Flurry. I had the twilek bounty hunter, who used entertaining as a cover to get information and her marks. Heh, let's just say it went from there as I played Crescendo, whose name at the time was not a twilek name, but one taken as a cover from a friend as I said then.
Later on, I made my Daesha'nilim, and from the get go, I researched the fanon and made her more directly immersed in the twilek culture and history from my fascination with the Sesk'Nabsilai and the rest. This has tied into Daesha's background and still does. I also play the lethan aspect of her, which was the case due to her backstory even before red was a color in the ground. Then, she was that shade of reddish-brown.. in any manner, I have played a few twileks, even on Kettemoor at one point and one other server.
Something about them, and not just the head tails, has always fascinated me, and continues to do so.
So, aside from zabraks, this race caught my attention from day one of my playing SWG.

I only tried SWG at release after my bf said, "You can be a dancer". My original character was a twi'lek since I loved Oola.
Fast forward 5 or so years of not playing, and retrying the game when offered free time to transfer characters. The elder ended up on some random server, and when I decided to give roleplay a try I made a character on Starsider. Still love Oola, but I remembered another twi'lek that played on my original server that I always thought was the loveliest color so Zinaida ended up tolian.
I had NO idea when I started of all the fanon that's out there (the good kind *shudder*) so I just picked a name I'd used before (I like the letter Z!) and added the only twi'lek surname I knew at the time.
Since finding the lexicon and such I've tried to do little things to make her seem more like an alien; such as, not knowing certain words in Basic, or Basic slang (I've gotten to ask ICly whether or not a hooker was a farming implement :lol )

I have always loved Oola off star wars, there was just something.. cool and sad about her.
The first time I seen SWG was when my ex fiance bought it, I came home from work and he was in the Lucky Despot, he told me to come here, and he showed me a twi'lek doing exotic 2.. that night we bought my copy and i made Sab-ine Liga.. who was.. at first.. a dancer

When I first played SWG I made a bunch of random chars, one of them was a twi'lek named Ogeale. I didn't RP back then and I ended up deleting Ogeale after a brief attempt at it. I then remade her as a present to my girlfriend at the time who played, and then I've enjoy my blue twi'lek ever since

When I created my first character seven and a half years ago, it was a Twi'lek named Avaadi Rihe. She was a dancer/fencer, but I didn't know anything about Twi'lek culture or fanon at the time. I just liked the description of the race. I quit the game for a while, and when I came back I recreated Avaadi as Ivaadi Rihe. I went on to create several more characters, exploring different races and servers, but the only ones that lasted very long were my Twi'leks. Once I discovered Twi'lek fanon/culture, I knew it was something I wanted to explore in greater depth and detail. Having now been offered the opportunity to actually CREATE some of that fanon is amazing to me.

When I first started, I made a zabrak, because I thought they looked more exotic than humans. But once I started to RP around Inari who was a twi'lek, I started learning stuff about them to the point where I would whine to her every day about how I wanted a purple twi'lek.
Then, after a few weeks, I bought my brother a game, and myself. <_< I made Mia'Lih and wanted to make her a tailor so I could have pretty clothes to wear all the time! And thus, just before mastering tailor, the NGE came out and all I wanted for alts on two accounts were twi'leks. Now they have consumed me.
